we just had an invitational game against corpus christi school. i was really nervous before the game! as in! because we can't play in the prisaa and milo so we'll just have invitational games. we had an introduction before we began the game and it was fun. and then five minutes later, the game began...
it was fun! and the ball was running fast. the ball was always cleared so when it goes to the opponent's side, they kick it hard and then there comes the ball again coming to our side of the field. it was easy to harass them. i'm not being thick or something, but it's true. their girls are kikay, just like us. only a few of them kick hard. some just kick it too light. and they don't know how to find an open space so when they pass the ball, our attackers can easily get it.
we got two big points. big for soccer, i mean. we ended at 6:30 pm. it was raining, but not so hard. and it was getting dark so it's really hard for us players to see the ball. the rain was nice and the mud, too. during the game, i played fullback right and center because we were exchanging places. AND i got hit twice by tintin! for your information, she kicks really hard and high. so when i blocked it, it was sakit and then the ball bounced and went back to her. and then for the second time, she kicked the ball and i blocked it again. ouch. it was paingul but it was good. i like it when i try to block.
there was also once when i attacked because no one was getting the ball for me. so i dribbled the ball very fast because an opponent was beside me trying to get the ball. and when i passed it, it directly went to one of my teammates. it was nice. the entire game was nice. i really like it when it's a real game because i get serious and tough.
other schools were telling that we are BANGA. but to tell you guys, we're not. imagine, all the girls in the soccer team have only played this july, except for three or four. before they became varsities, they didn't even know how to make an instep kick. including me. i just played this summer and now, i've improved a lot. and the soccer boys don't even win a single game against other schools...hahaha...
we're not saying we're good. but we really improved since ate marna and ate apple volunteered to coach us. and now, we've won a game against corpus. amazing.
