malaybalay getaway
i never thought malaybalay would be an hour farther from cawayanon.
waking up early isn't my type. i'm not the kinda girl who wakes up as soon as my alarm rings. someone has to punch me first! nah..just joking. maybe a pinch will do.=) i woke up so early in the morning, about 2 am. i thought tita beth would fetch me at three so naglangaylangay pa intawon ko. pastilan pag 2:25--niabot na si tita beth! i didn't have time to take a bath. i just made hilamos, changed, i didn't even eat breakfast! but thank God, when i got there, Karen's mom bought a creamy choco for me at the Park Cafe (20 pesos lang naman kasi, pero masarap! sobra!!!).
and then about quarter to three, we drove all the way to bukidnon. we arrived at malaybalay by six am. and then surprised richie fernando by singing to them while they were still waking up. my sister never thought i could go because no one would come with me. thanks tita beth!!! i owe you soooo much!!!
but i also didn't have to suffer listening to "their" talks because jaia and shiela, ate apple, were there. we ate breakfast (ang tamis ng pinya!!!) and then went to the capitol to practice for their presentation in the afternoon. before lunch, they had a mass and went to the formation center fot lunch. it was fun because all the while, i talked to kuku. we had fun chitchatting there.
finally, the day has to end and the fun has to stop. we made our way back to cdo. i really slept in the car because i might get sick. imagine three hours in the car!
i'm glad my sister liked our gift and palancas. i'm so excited for our retreat. then i guess i have to prepare more than a hundred palancas for my batchmates.=)
