when i rode the airplane hours earlier, i felt the same kind of feeling when i was in that airplane four years ago. it was memorable not only because it was my first time, but also because the fare was cheaper back then. :b i couldn't agree less when people say that it feels like cloud nine when you look outside the aircraft. when i saw those puffy, white clouds above and below the plane, it seems as if i could just hop all the way back to cagayan de oro with these "cotton candies." it's fun, traveling especially miles away from home. but what's really fun about traveling is discovering new things, new places, and new friends.
just as my sister picked me up at the airport, i said, "it's freakin hot in here!" what can i expect? it's manila, not cdo. we went to the gateway mall and ate lunch at their so-called food-court na sobrang ganda. the tables and chairs were fantastic, looks like the one at big restaurants. but we still had to travel far. manila is so damn big! even going to katipunan is tiring. two stops away from cubao. and then i saw admu with their soccer field! it makes me wanna go back to cdo!!
the condominium was nice. the elevator wasn't bad either. :b
it was already 4:30 in the afternoon and it's still hot outside. we went to UP with meetch, jodie and juls. and then we chilled a little at the tiny canteen inside the campus. thank God we had the chance to meteor garden there. i'm so hooked up with it! even before!
we went back to the condo and minutes later, we had dinner at "wok dis way," a few blocks away from there. and surprisingly, we saw romrom, mam labial, francis and other yearbook staff also having dinner there. it's nice to see them again. :D
my first day wasn't that bad. a little eating and a little soaking under the sun, it was great. :D
