anti-corruption
corruption. a fourteen-year-old like me would never understand the true mystery behind corruption. i might describe this word as stealing, cheating. but there's more than that. and that's what im going to find out as i journey along with the seniors to fight corruption.
when the OSASI moderators made me an OSASI 4 member, my first reaction was "what the..." i wanted to be with my felllow juniors and be part of the OSASI 3 team. but as weeks pass by and i get to know my students from 4-fernando, i began to realize that i have a mission to accomplish. i need to take part of this thing the seniors often call "crap" because 4-fernando and the other seniors need us to open their eyes on the truths of corruption.
but where do you think corruption originated?? i just started pondering on this question when our history teacher brought up the topic. was it inherited? did it just came out of poverty? did it started when adam took a bite of the apple from the tree of knowledge? as what our teacher said, corruption has always been there even during the time of the pharaohs, but the Egyptian rulers did not exercised it yet.
corruption is the son of greed. when people start to think, "
i am more than what i have right now," they also start to think of ways to earn more money.
it's just so unfair for other people. nu-uh.
look at our country now. i just hate listening to the news every night on the tv. palagi nalang gloria, gloria. and people are TOO light. once an issue comes out, they started rallying and rallying! if gloria's really guilty, why not take the legal way; the right way. why not take it to the court? parang "
they have no respect for the office" already... the truth will come out anyway. and it's somewhat the voters' fault.
elect, elect tapos resign, resign! if gloria's resigning, it will still be the same. the next officials will still corrupt the country. it will never stop.
it's so stupid to rally all the way to malacanang palace! they will get nothing anyway, except to be beaten up by the police.
im looking forward to the juniors' bonding. tomorrow. at least there is still some place where you can enjoy and have fun. that would be in school. :D
