it's hot. and the very last thing that every student in the populace of xavier university would do is to play. the killer heat of the sun takes away all the energy that you have in your body. what else is left to do? well, there are two things, essentially. one is taking a nap. the other? eat.
all third year students of xuhs are required to sell any food product during the intramurals. it's a group project. we're not having any exams for this quarter. and our exam grade entirely depended on our selling activity. as i recently said, it's a group work. which means EVERYONE in the group should work. he/she should do his/her job. whatever the case.
but you see, here's the twist. we have games during the intrams and we have to exchange places in taking care of our so-called "store." well, i guess some people got a little bit carried away with intrams that they failed to remember (or rather didn't mind) the selling activity.
unfortunately, we had one in the group.
from the production to marketing to sales, she (uhm..yes, it's a she) did not help. "help" here is an understatement. more like "SHE DID NOT CARE." she did not even gave us even a cent for the raw materials we had to buy. and until now, she hasn't paid yet. do we have to wait for her??
i know she has a job to do. but is it more important than grades?
so we can just say we had a high profit in our sales and simply put there that our mark up was a hundred percent, but it would be a faux. as a leader, i would surely give the other members a higher grade. i do not want her to get embarrassed by our cynical teacher. i do not want to see her crying because she got low grades in basic management. most especially, i do not want her to get kicked out of the honors class. but now, thinking about what she HASN'T done (a bit ironic), a part of me wants to kick her ass, yell at her and slap her in the face.
i so do know that this isn't the right solution.
this isn't just business and she knows it (what's the point of having a brain??). our grades depended on it, remember? and it's totally unfair for the rest of the group. they helped, she didn't. does anything seem a bit vague? i think not.
i have the power to give her a perfect zero for it. for actually doing nothing.

or do you think i should just let karma find its way and drag her to someplace God knows where?
