everything we've worked for (our meetings reached the nth time -- for one single party!!) for our little gathering at dean's house has finally become fruitful. it was successful except for the caroling part. killjoy masyado yung ulan.
the pigs gathered at shoemart and we had the kringle there. we were given an hour to buy our gifts. but the greatest challenge was, we had to purchase a gift LESS than a hundred bucks. it has to be something wacky. and we have to surrender the receipt to asil! so there's no way we could cheat! what can you buy, which is wacky and at the same time useful for the next year with a hundred bucks?!
i had a hard time searching all over the mall for the perfect gift. especially that it was for boy. but then i still ended up buying a shirt for jerik for a hundred and fifty bucks. fifty bucks wouldnt hurt right? still wacky though because it had a graphic of a superhero. of ghosts. :p
daryl was able to pick my name. unfortunate lad..nyahahah! but i liked what he gave me. :)
tonight was also full of romance. jerik had asked vachael to the prom. dean asked nina (after nina said no to cesar), which i myself witnessed. ramon also asked erika. what's happening to them?! it seems like the torpes finally came out of their shells. i had known these guys for almost two years. but NEVER in our class years had they been this romantic. i thought that their priorities were only basketball and grades. now i should include girls on the list...
we only had the chance to sing carols at one house. one lucky house. and then the family gave us fifty bucks for it. that's all we got from a night's stroll. we spent most of the night at butcher's. we talked and talked and then everyone has to go home. dean's parents came to pick us at butcher's. thanks for the ride, dean. :)
it was an ass-kickin' night! and we all thank mikki for it! :D
enjoy the holidays everyone! :D
